Summer, summer, summer tiiime! How are we all doing on this fine day?
Here are 5 things I'd like to share with you this week:
A friend of mine is running the very cool Lensball Dublin Instagram account. Loving the photos he's been sharing recently.
“All I know is that I know nothing.” - Socrates
You may or may not be familiar with Ray Dalio and his book Priniciples. However, he has just distilled it (it's quite big) into a 30-minute ultra miniseries that focuses on the life principles that have helped him the most throughout his career. They are short, sweet and excellently put together. Check out the first in the series below.
Speaking of books, I just started my June book earlier in the week. This one was recommended to me by a number of followers and I'm not surprised as it's sold over three million copies in the short time it's been out. "The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life" by Mark Manson is a generation-defining self-help guide [that] cuts through the crap to show us how to stop trying to be "positive" all the time so that we can truly become better, happier people. Loving it so far! Have you read it? What did you think?
Thanks to the above book, I came across an interesting theory called the Law of Reversed Effort (or The Backwards Law). Simply put, the law states that the harder you try to do something the less likely you are to succeed in it. You can read more about it by clicking here, and it actually makes a lot of sense.
Serious summer vibes from this track!
