Hello everyone. Welcome back to my blog and yet another 5-Bullet Friday. Here's what I'd like to share with you this week:
Networking is at the core of entrepreneurship. It's one of the key activities that you need to embrace in order to bring your ideas to fruition and keep your business alive. I wouldn't be where I am today without the people I've met through networking, and I'm constantly looking to connect with individuals that resonate with my ideas and beliefs, in both my business life and my personal life. I enjoy it, but not everyone's suited to it. If you're one of those people that thinks "I'm really bad at networking. How do I introduce myself? What would I even say?", I'd recommend watching the below video from Tim Ferriss. It's clever. It's simple. It's doable.
“Stick your neck out… it’s a lot more fun than sitting at home and watching other people do it.” - Richard Branson
I set up a cryptocurrency wallet, got myself on Gdax and I'm slowly learning about Bitcoin and Ethereum. I'm completely new to this and have very little knowledge or experience with investing, but thought it was about time I gave it a shot. Do you have any cryptocurrency yourself? Do you have any tips for me? Leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.
I generally work pretty late and it means that I'm staring at screens all evening before heading to bed. If you didn't already know, this is pretty bad for your sleep. To counteract that, I'm using a couple of apps that change the colour of my display gradually so that my brain isn't affected as much. For my laptop (Apple) I'm using F.lux and for my phone (Android) I'm using Twilight. Check them out - they might just help you get some shut-eye that bit easier.
Joji reminds me of early The Weeknd. Very mellow, slightly dark, alternative R&B. If you're into weird comedy YouTubers you may actually know this guy already as Filthy Frank/Pink Guy, however, now he's turning his hand to music. He hasn't released much yet but I like what I've heard so far.
