Hey everyone! So due to a number of reasons yesterday (happy birthday mum!) I didn't get the chance to sit down to write my weekly 5-Bullet Friday. So to make up for it I've decided to make a Saturday special.
Here are 6 things I'd like to share with you this week:
Twisted Doodles being as silly as ever on this bank holiday weekend.
“Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.” - Yoda, in honour of Star Wars day yesterday.
A new month, a new book. This week I started Jordan B. Peterson’s latest book ‘12 Rules for Life’. I'm not too far into it but enjoying the book so far. Have you read it? What did you think?
On May 25th, Irish citizens will vote on the issue of abortion. They will be asked whether or not to delete Article 40.3.3 of the Constitution (known as the 8th Amendment) and replace it with a new Article allowing the Oireachtas (the legislature of Ireland) to legislate on the issue. The 8th Amendment gives the unborn an equal right to life as the mother and therefore prohibits abortion in almost all cases in Ireland. I will be voting yes to repeal the 8th, and wrote a post about why I feel it's necessary. You can read it here.
The latest bizarre comedy series to hit Netflix is HAPPY! Here's the synopsis:HAPPY! is based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name. The series follows Nick Sax – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hitman – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue-winged unicorn named Happy.
Yep. You read that correctly. Check out the trailer below.
It's hotter in Dublin than in São Paulo right now. Here's São Paulo's very own Céu to put you in that sunny groove.
