What podcast I listened to
It's safe to say that most marketers wouldn’t consider themselves psychologists, yet a huge part of their job involves psychology. Each and everyday marketers are involved with persuading and influencing people to buy a product or service through psychological means. You can listen below or read the blog version here.
What video I watched
What do Skrillex, David Bowie, NWA and basically every drum and bass track have in common? They've all used the Amen break, a four-bar drum solo that has become the most sampled loop in music history.
What blog post I read

Unfortunately, these immediate reactions might not always be the best course of action (for ourselves and others) and can quite often make the situation so much worse. Here's where we need to learn to respond, not react. Have a read here to see what it's all about. Thanks to Sam from Fuse13 for sharing this one with me.
What quote I'm pondering
“You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.” - Stephen King
