It's the first Friday of 2018. Happy new year! Let's get stuck in.
Black Mirror is finally back with a new season and I couldn't be happier. If you haven't heard of it, it's a sci-fi series that explores a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity's greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide. Each episode has a different storyline with different characters, so you can drop in and out with no issues. If you haven't seen it before, go catch up. All 4 seasons are currently on Netflix.

Starting a new year means starting new journals, diaries and calendars for many people. Thankfully my dad gave me the gift of a beautiful new Moleskine 2018 planner for Christmas. Sometimes it’s nice to step away from the digital world and use good old pen and paper to plan out your days.
Since we're all still in the "new year, new me" mode and new year's resolutions are top of mind, this one might resonate with a good few of you. During the week I came across a post from Larry Kim that covers 27 productivity tips to implement during 2018. Personally, it's one of the main areas I want to improve on this year; productivity in both my business and personal life and a lot of these hacks I'll be aiming to put to the test. More efficient (and effective) meetings, cutting down on digital noise (unnecessary email subscriptions & notifications) and better task automation are just some of the ones I'll be attempting. Read it here.
Didn't think I'd be listening to something that sounded like this in 2018...
