Happy Friday everyone! I've had a really busy but productive week, in great spirits and looking forward to my weekend plans. Here are a few things I'd like to share with you today:
This week marks 4 years on my entrepreneurial adventure. 4 years since I left the job I hated, rented an office and kicked off the biggest project of my life. It's been an incredible journey and an amazing experience, and I'd definitely do it all again if I was given the choice. I'd like to say a big thank you to every client, colleague, contact, friend, family member and naysayer. I could never have done it without you. Looking forward to the next 4 years and beyond!
“Focus on the moment, not the monsters that may or may not be up ahead.” - Ryan Holiday
This year I'm trying to read at least 1 book per month. April's pick is Ryan Holiday's "The Obstacle is the Way". This is one I've been meaning to read for a while now and is essentially a guidebook on how to turn obstacles or challenges into positive, advantageous opportunities. Flying through it and loving it so far. You can grab yourself a copy here.
Laughing. It's good at reducing stress, anxiety, sadness, pain and a whole heap of other things. Take a few minutes for yourself and have a laugh.
The very excellent Noname. She's the bomb!
