Hello! I'm back with my second installment of 5-Bullet Friday. It's been a crazy week work wise, but I've squeezed in a few things, so without further ado, here's this week's 5-Bullet Friday:
Ok, so I'm still reading Tim Ferriss' The 4-Hour Work Week. It's a long one, alright? Grab yourself a copy here.
Shoutout to my good friend Jill L'Estrange who's an Irish artist & interior designer (which I'll get into another time). Jill's style is described as abstract expressionism and she works predominantly in oil paint. She gets her inspiration from local surroundings and her travels (such as Paris, New York and Beijing) and aims to showcase the beauty of Ireland in her landscape and seascape pieces. I absolutely love her work and look forward to the day when I can get her to paint every wall in my house!
Last night headed along to the Irish Craft Beer Festival in Dublin and tried some amazing new beers from Irish breweries. My stand out beer of the evening had to be O Brother Brewing's new IPA "The Rainmaker". Made with Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy hops, it's a seriously amped up and fresh beer that's perfect for the hoppy connoisseur. Definitely check it out.
During the week I went to the first Igers Dublin #AfterWorkTalk to see Instagram pro Alex Calder talk about her account @betweentwoears and how it was featured by Instagram back in 2015. Alex is a digital strategist, copywriter, content creator, award-winning social media specialist and is currently Director of Content at MCO. Her side project @betweentwoears is an Instagram account devoted to shots from horseback - essentially views from "between the ears" of her thoroughbred horse Ben. There are some seriously great shots so go give her (and Ben) a follow!
Here's a funky track from Childish Gambino to get you in the weekend mood!
