Hey there! How was your week? Good? Great? Meh? Here are some things from mine that I'd like to share:
What I really enjoyed
On Tuesday of this week it was World Mental Health Day. A big group of us got together in the office to celebrate it, share stories and generally bring a little bit of positivity to our workday. You can read my short post about what exactly we got up to and see some snaps by clicking here. It was lovely.
What quote I'm pondering
“Selling to people who actually want to hear you is more effective than interrupting strangers that don’t.” - Seth Godin
What video I discovered
I've been spending a good amount of time lately in trying to find great podcasts and videos, and one that was shared with me was the TEDx Talk by Sam Berns on his philosophy for a happy life. I urge you to take 15 minutes out of your weekend and watch this video. No distractions, give it your full attention. Then read the description on YouTube.
Where I'm headed this weekend
Dublin's first ever WordCamp conference kicks off tomorrow and I'll be there all weekend. I'm super excited to be speaking at it on Sunday. Come and say hi if you're gonna be there!
What I'm listening to
Shout out to Al Crehan for introducing me to this absolute tune from The Roots featuring Cody ChesnuTT.
