Hello and welcome back to another 5-Bullet Friday post. Here are 5 things I'd like to share with you today:
Banksy's latest artwork has appeared in Birmingham, UK, and shows two reindeer painted on a wall next to an existing bench, giving the impression that they're pulling the bench like a sleigh. In the video posted on Banky's Instagram account, the bench is occupied by a homeless man. A poignant message as always from the acclaimed street artist.
Today I'm heading off to Copenhagen for a few days to check out the sights and sounds of the city. It's my first time visiting the capital of Denmark, so would love some tips on what to see and do. If you've been to Copenhagen before, let me know what you thought of the city and what I should check out while I'm there. Tak!
Do you always focus on the negative? Is the glass half full or half empty? Turns out, our minds are built to look for negative information in our environment. In this video Alison Ledgerwood, a UC Davis professor of psychology, explains how people tend to get stuck in particular ways of thinking and what they can do to get unstuck.
“Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” - Scott Adams
I went to a live performance of The Nightmare Before Christmas over the weekend and haven't been able to get the songs out of my head since, so it's only fair to have you humming along too!
