Hello, and welcome to this week's 5-Bullet Friday. We battened down the hatches and survived Hurricane Ophelia here in Dublin, however one familiar face didn't seem to take the advice of staying indoors and was spotted taking selfies around the city. It's been busy getting things back on track with many clients facing storm issues - but I still had time to come across a few cool things during the week. Here we go:
35 years after the release of the iconic original, Bladerunner 2049 hit screens earlier this month. With mixed reviews and disappointing box office success, many are asking whether or not they should've revived the franchise. My answer: yes. I really enjoyed it. I'm not a big sci-fi movie fan, and I barely even remember the original, but with the combination of stunning visuals, gripping soundtrack and some great performances from Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, it makes for a fantastic standalone piece of work. It's a bit long and quite slow paced, but it held my attention throughout. Go and check it out yourself and let me know what you thought in the comments below.

During the week I forgot my presentation remote for my laptop and only realised 15 mins before a meeting. However, a little app I found on the Google Play store saved the day: Remote Mouse. It turns your phone or tablet into a wireless remote control for your computer, whether you're making a presentation or watching a movie. The free version did the trick for me, but there's a premium version that has a huge amount of extra features that look pretty useful depending on your needs. Check it out here.
I was at Dublin's first ever WordCamp conference over the weekend and it was such a great success. Met so many fantastic people and learned a lot. My talk on Sunday went really well too. I've added the slides below if you'd like to check them out, and there's a video coming soon so will keep you posted.
