Hello Friday! Here are 5 things I'd like to share with you today:
German tech company Mu Design has created a digital, emotive plant pot named Lua. It's a smart planter that measures soil moisture, light exposure and temperature to help you keep your houseplant alive and well. Not available in shops just yet, but you can preorder Lua on Indiegogo now.
Today I'm heading off to Budapest for a few days to check out the sights and sounds of the city. It's my first time visiting the capital of Hungary (or anywhere in Hungary for that matter!), so would love some tips on what to see and do. If you've been to Budapest before, let me know what you thought of the city and what I should check out while I'm there. Egészségére!
I recently came across the stunning Instagram account of Frans Lanting. Originally from the Netherlands, he's a National Geographic photographer that for over three decades has "documented wildlife from the Amazon to Antarctica to promote understanding about the Earth and its natural history through images that convey a passion for nature and a sense of wonder about our living planet."
“Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.” - Norman Vincent Peale
This week saw International Men's Day take place on November 19th, and to mark the occasion, Movember released a video about how it can be difficult to spot the signs that a male friend might be struggling with their mental health. The video is really powerful and I imagine it'll resonate with a lot of people. Find out more about how you can help your friends in need on the Movember website here.
