Happy Friday everyone! I hope you've had a great week. Here are 5 things I'd like to share with you today:
As you might be aware, my 2018 challenge is to read at least one book a month. During the week I finished my August book (Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday), so next up on the reading list is The One Thing by Gary W. Keller and Jay Papasan. “The One Thing explains the success habit to overcome the six lies that block our success, beat the seven thieves that steal time, and leverage the laws of purpose, priority, and productivity.” What's the ONE thing you can do such that by doing it, everything else becomes easier or unnecessary?
I recently hurt my back and was unable to do some of the things I'm used to doing. In a roundabout way, it made me think about how we take so many aspects of our lives for granted, and how we should practice gratitude more often in order to appreciate the little things in life. So with that in mind, I wrote a short post about it and came up with some simple tips on how to practice gratitude more in your daily life.
