Hello friends. It's the last Friday of the year, and that means it's also the last 5-Bullet Friday of 2017! I hope you've enjoyed them so far, and I'm looking forward to 2018 being a big blogging year for me.

On Wednesday I reached 100 days without alcohol. Back in September I decided to take some time off drinking and see how it affected me: my mental health, my physical health and my life in general. You can read more about how it went by clicking here.
In keeping with my quest to try new things and improve my overall health, earlier today I took part in my first every Reiki session. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. I really enjoyed it and felt completely relaxed and more energised afterwards. There are some aspects of it I'm a little unsure about, but I felt like it was an extra special meditation session of sorts. Would love to hear if any of you practice Reiki and how you find it.
