Today I celebrated World Mental Health Day with so many wonderful people at our office in Dublin. We meditated, ate donuts, drank coffee, played games, did yoga, shared stories, laughed hard, cried a little, and most importantly all agreed that it's ok not to feel ok.
I'm so proud of those that felt comfortable enough to be able to open up and talk about their experiences, some of which had never been shared with others in public before. And I was so proud of those that just listened, that got involved with the day's events and that we're simply there to support their colleagues and friends. To see such strength among people from all walks of life gives me huge hope that we're gaining ground on destigmatising mental health issues in Ireland. We're all in this together. We're not alone. And we won't give up on each other.
